Synagogue Open Air Bar – a unique entertainment venue in the heart of Chania’s Old Town. Housed in the renovated ruins of an old Jewish synagogue, it offers an experience that blends historical charm with contemporary aesthetics.The open-air space, with its stone walls, climbing jasmine, and soft lighting, creates a truly enchanting atmosphere – almost like a fairytale. The music at Synagogue spans a wide range.
The main bar hosts DJs playing soul, funk, alternative, and mainstream tunes, while the small bar features Greek folk music. The themed nights – such as the artist tributes every Wednesday or the crowd’s music choice every Thursday – add a unique character to each visit.
Particular attention is given to the cocktails, which stand out for their quality, fresh ingredients, and creative approach.
